Portfolio: Tacoma General Hospital Multicare L-Wing Expansion

Cochran provided construction services for the 8-story, 291 -bed facility. The addition was construction on top of four existing floors and was attached to the central plant of the entire hospital complex. The project included 10 operating rooms, 4 cardiovascular operating rooms, 2 single cardiac catheterization laboratories, and 2 bi-catheterization laboratories. All existing systems remained fully operational throughout construction, with a seamless transition as new systems came on-line.
